There are several shops selling full range of food, beverages and dry goods. Moreover, there is butchery, a fish shop and a market with variety of fruits and vegetables. You can find there also several bakeshops where you can buy really fresh baked goods.
Restaurants offer wide choice of local specialities including fish specialities and everybody picks a dish for sure. The best of restaurants are Roko, Klemić, Obala, Sunce or Taverna Borak. The prices at the restaurants are reasonable. The quality of food is good and the portions are astounding. You can have something to eat at a cheap rate at a port – directly on the boat Labud where fish and meat are being grilled. There are of course several pizzerias, one of the best is called Ahipara and can be found at the end of the port. There are also fast foods where you can buy hamburgers and similar delicacies.
You can relish the ice cream and ice-cream sundaes in the ice cream parlours Plaža, Art, Maritimo and others. There are several cafés on the promenade and other cafés are in particular hotels. There is a live music every day in front of the Podgorka hotel where you can enjoy sitting on the big terrace and listen to the Dalmatian songs for example. The pleasant stay on the beach can be made even more pleasant by bars like Banana Bar or Shark that are located next to the beach. On the promenade, there are several stalls selling beach line of products and there are of course also stalls with various souvenirs. Moreover, there are boutiques with clothes, shoes etc. Czech and Slovak newspapers can be bought routinely in bookstalls during the season. Last but not least, there are several jewelleries with wide selection of all goods, one of the best is called Zlataren Leo. Pharmacy, bank, post office and several exchange offices are in Podgora as a matter of course.
